Viaplay competition – Terms and conditions
The promoter for the Competition is the company owner of Viaplay, namely Viaplay Group Sweden AB (org.nr 556304-7041) with address Box 17179, 104 62 Stockholm, Sweden (the “Promoter”).
By entering the Lottery, you (herein, the “Participant”) accepts and agrees to comply with these terms and conditions (the “Rules”). Participants who do not comply with the Rules will not be eligible to win the Prize (as defined below).
1. Requirements on eligibility
The Competition run from 10/10/2022 to 30/10/2022, any Submissions after this period will be disregarded.
The Competition is only open to individuals that fulfill all the following requirements:
- 18 years or older and of full legal capacity;
- Resident of Netherlands; and
- Holder of necessary and updated travel documents.
Regardless of the above, no individuals or family members affiliated with the Promoter can participate in the Competition.
2. How to participate in the Competition
- Participants enter the Competition in two steps:
- Participant invites at least one friend to join Viaplay.
- Referred friend redeems their offer by using the promotion link shared by the Participant and a create Viaplay account.
This Competition is not conditioned of a purchase of any product or service.
3. How the Winner is selected and announced
- Once the period of the Competition has ended, theWinners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Rules.
There can only be 10 Winners (the “Winner”).
The Winner is announced no later than 30112022. The Winner is contacted directly by name through email address registered for Viaplay. The selected Winner will have seventy-two(72) hours to respond starting from 07112022. The Winner can respond by [information]. After that time, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new Winner.
4. Information about the Prize
The prize consists of the following (“Prize”):
- Full year subscriptions with Viaplay Sport, Series and Films.
The total value of the Prize is estimated at €167,88] per person. All local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Winner, respectively, the friend.
Other conditions of the Prize
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for failure to supply accurate information which affects the Prize acceptance or delivery of the Prize.
The Prize is personal and cannot be passed on, returned, or exchanged for cash.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater value, should circumstances outside the Promoter’s control make this necessary.
5. Processing of your personal data
In connection with participation in the competition, Viaplay Group Sweden AB processes your personal information, including your name, e-mail, and country of residence. The personal information is processed in connection with the administration of the competition, including contact with the Winner via the e-mail you have provided. The processing takes place on the basis of contractual obligation and all personal data is stored securely and in accordance with the law. Once the competition is over, we will no longer use your personal information for the purpose of administration of the competition.

6. Intellectual property
By entering the Competition, Participants hereby declare that they own exclusive and unlimited copyright to their Submission and that such Submission is not encumbered with and does not infringe any third-party rights. Participants hereby grants the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide and royalty free license to use the Submission, including any intellectual property rights that may subsist in the Submission for the purposes of the administration and promotion of the relevant Competition.
7. Limitation of liability
All Prizes are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis and any conditions, warranties or other terms implied by applicable law are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any damages, loss, or injury suffered by any Participant or friend of such Participant/Winner as a result of entering the Competition or accepting any Prize.
Nevertheless, nothing shall exclude the Promoters liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
In case of doubt or disagreement about the conditions of the Competition, it is the Promoter that decides the Winner. No claims can be made against the Promoter or their partners as a result of participating in the Competition and/or in relation to the Prize.
8. General
The winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and the Promoter reserves the right to use the Winner and the friends name, photograph, likeness, and information about the country of residence in any publicity both in paper and online.
The Competition is governed by the laws of the Participant’s country of residence.
Reservations are made for formulation and printing errors.
