Updated Terms and Conditions

We have made some changes to the terms and conditions, as well as some clarifications to make them more clear, including:  

• We have specified that you may only share your Viaplay account with other members of your household, i.e. the persons connected to the same internet connection at the physical location where you usually use your Viaplay account. Read more about Viaplay Household at help.viaplay.com/is/.  
• We may offer you the opportunity to purchase additional services for your subscription, such as additional concurrent streams. In some cases, an additional service may enable you to share your Viaplay account outside your household.  
• We have specified the amount of devices that you can register and use for your Viaplay account, and how often the registration of those devices can be changed. More information is available on help.viaplay.com/is/.
• We may offer packages that include ads. By purchasing such a package, you accept advertisements on your device. Please note that our ad-free packages may contain sponsorship messages, product placement information, and the like. Live sporting events may also sometimes contain advertisements.  
• We have clarified that the quality of the streaming may be affected by the package you choose, your location, the device you are using, etc.  
• We have added information that Viaplay may from time to time be linked to third party services. If you choose to use such a third party service, you may be required to accept additional terms of use provided by such third party service provider.  
• We have clarified the circumstances in which we have the right to change the terms of use and pricing. You will always be notified in advance of any significant changes to the terms and conditions relating to your subscription, as well as any price changes.
