Error code 1001 on Samsung TV

If you get error code 1001 on your Samsung TV when using the Viaplay app, we recommend trying the following steps:

  • Check that the TV is connected to the internet by going to settings and network. If the TV is not connected, select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to reconnect.
  • Close the Viaplay app by pressing Return until you are back in the app menu.
  • Restart the TV by holding down the Start/Home button until the Samsung logo appears.
  • If none of the steps above work, try unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in again to restart both the TV and the app.
