Accepted payment methods
We accept both Visa and Mastercard as payment methods. Note that the card must be issued by an Icelandic bank. Due to studio rights we do not accept cards that are issued by a foreign bank.
Update payment method
You can update your payment method on a computer or the web browser on your mobile phone or tablet. To update your payment method go to Reikningurinn minn by hovering your mouse over your name in the upper right corner of the screen, and choose Reikningurinn minn from the drop-down list. Choose Breyta greiðslumáta to change your payment method.
Change billing date
You can change your billing date at: account.viaplay.is/changedate
Note that you can only change your billing date to the current date. When the change has been made, you will be billed the full price of your subscription and we will refund you for the remaining days of your previous billing period.
See payment history and download receipts
You can find your payment history and download receipts for previous purchases through Sjá kaupferil on Reikningurinn minn. Go to Reikningurinn minn by hovering the mouse over your name in the upper right corner of the screen, and choose Reikningurinn minn from the drop-down list. You can see a list of all transactions connected to your Viaplay account (both payment and refunds) and download a receipt for each transaction as PDF.
