Changes for you with an LG and Samsung TV

We continuously strive towards improving our application on each platform and in order to keep our service up to date, as well as making sure that we deliver the best possible product, we unfortunately need to remove our support for LG and Samsung TV’s from 2013 and earlier on the 25th of February 2023. If you currently have an LG or Samsung TV’s from 2014 or later you will not be affected by this change and can keep enjoying our service as usual. Why are you removing the app from older LG and Samsung TV's?

LG and Samsung TV-models from 2013 and earlier runs an older outdated TV-application that’s not fully compatible with Viaplay. This limits us in our continuous journey towards developing and enhancing Viaplay as a product. However, if you still wish to primarily use your LG or Samsung TV to enjoy our service, we can recommend Chromecast as an affordable and viable solution.

 

How does this affect me as an owner of a LG or Samsung TV from 2013 or earlier?

How do I cancel my subscription?
