Viaplay Lottery – Terms and Conditions

The promoter for the Lottery is Viaplay Group International AB (org.nr 556840-9287) with address Box 17179, 104 62 Stockholm, Sweden (the “Promoter”).

By entering the Lottery, you (herein, the “Participant”) accepts and agrees to comply with these terms and conditions (the “Rules”). Participants who do not comply with the Rules will not be eligible to win the Prize (as defined below).

1. Requirements on eligibility

The Lottery runs from 10-10-2022 to 30-10-2022, any Submissions after this period will be disregarded.

The Lottery is only open to individuals that fulfill all the following requirements:

• 18 years or older and of full legal capacity;
• Resident of the Netherlands; and
• Have invited one or more friends and those friend(s) have redeemed the offer and created a Viaplay account according to these terms.
• Regardless of the above, no individuals or family members affiliated with the Promoter can participate in the Lottery.

2. How to participate in the Lottery

Participants can enter the Lottery by inviting at least one friend to sign-up to Viaplay through the Viaplay application and the referred friend redeems the offer by using the offer shared by the Participant to create a Viaplay account (“Submission”).

This Lottery is not conditioned of a purchase of any product or service by the Participant.

3. How the Winner is selected and announced

• Once the period of the Lottery has ended, 10 Winners will be chosen at random through a computer process (each one a “Winner”).

The Winners will be announced no later than 01-12-2022. The Winners are contacted directly through the email address registered for Viaplay.

4. Information about the Prize

The prize consists of the following (“Prize”):

• Voucher for a 12-month subscription to Viaplay Sport, Series and Films.

The total value of the Prize is estimated at €167,88 per person. All local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Winner, respectively, the friend.

Other conditions of the Prize

The voucher for a 12-month subscription to the Viaplay Sport, Series and Films package must be activated by 31-12-2022 at the latest. Once the subscription period of 12-months has expired, the subscription will convert and continue on a standard monthly fee, unless the subscription is canceled before the end of the 12-month free subscription period.

The Promoter cannot be held responsible for failure to supply accurate information which affects the Prize acceptance or delivery of the Prize.

The Prize is personal and cannot be passed on, returned, or exchanged for cash.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater value, should circumstances outside the Promoter’s control make this necessary.

5. Processing of your personal data

In connection with participation in the refer a friend lottery, Viaplay Group International AB processes your personal information, including your name, e-mail, and country of residence. The purpose with the processing is to validate your participation in the lottery and for the administration of the lottery, including contact with the Winner via the e-mail that is connected to your account. The processing takes place on the basis of contractual obligation and all personal data is stored securely and in accordance with the law. Once the lottery is over, we will no longer use your personal information for the purpose of administrating the lottery.

6. Limitation of liability

All Prizes are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis and any conditions, warranties or other terms implied by applicable law are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any damages, loss, or injury suffered by any Participant or friend of such Participant/Winner as a result of entering the Lottery or accepting any Prize.

Nevertheless, nothing shall exclude the Promoters liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
• any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

In case of doubt or disagreement about the conditions of Lottery, it is the Promoter that decides the Winner. No claims can be made against the Promoter as a result of participating in the Lottery and/or in relation to the Prize.

7. General

The Winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and the Promoter reserves the right to use the Winner and the friends name, photograph, likeness, and information about the country of residence in any publicity both in paper and online.

The Lottery is governed by the laws of the Participant’s country of residence.

Reservations are made for formulation and printing errors.
