Changes for you with a Panasonic TV
We continuously strive towards improving our application on each platform and in order to keep our service up to date, as well as making sure that we deliver the best possible product, we unfortunately need to remove our support for Panasonic TV’s from 2016 and below on the 10th of November 2020. If you currently have a Panasonic TV’s from 2017 or above you will not be affected by this change and can keep enjoying our service as usual. Viaplay is available on a wide variety of devices, which enables a continuous viewing experience. Read more about these devices at https://viaplay.is/devices.
Why are you removing the app from older Panasonic TV's?
Panasonic TV-models from 2016 and below runs an older outdated TV-application that’s not fully compatible with Viaplay. This limits us in our continuous journey towards developing and enhancing Viaplay as a product. However, if you still wish to primarily use your Panasonic TV to enjoy our service, we can recommend Chromecast as an affordable and viable solution.
