Have you received a discount code for e.g. a rental movie or for a Viaplay subscription? Below you will find more info on how you activate your offer – both as a new and an existing customer!
Have you received a voucher code for a Viaplay subscription? Click the Redeem Voucher Code button below on a web browser (on a computer/mobile/ tablet) to activate the offer.
Enter your code in the window and click Nota. Enter the email address you want to use the code with. If you are a new customer you need to create an account when activating the code. Follow the steps, add a payment method and remember to double-check that the amount is correct before you confirm the purchase.
As an existing customer, you will be asked to log in to your account if the email address is already registered in the system. Follow the steps and activate the offer.
Have you received a voucher for a rental movie? Then you can rent a movie from our store-section completely free of charge and watch it as many times as you want in the next 48 hours.
Already have a Viaplay account?
If yes) Log in to Viaplay with a browser (from a computer/mobile/tablet), click on the Leigðu og keyptu-section and select the movie you want to rent. Make sure that you choose Leigja fyrir xxx kr (and not Kaupa fyrir xxx kr). In the confirmation box, you will find a field where you can enter your code (with capital letters). Click Nota and enjoy the movie! If you want to watch the movie on a device other than a computer, you can find it under the menu Keyptar kvikmyndir on other platforms.
If no) Create an account here and add a payment method. A payment method must always be added even when renting a movie with a voucher. This is due to studio rights and for confirming that you are of at least 18 years of age. Please note that no package is required to use the Store-section. Then follow the steps above.
