Available video quality on Viaplay
The table below shows the highest quality options available for different types of content on Viaplay. Note that exceptions to the highest available quality may occur, as your internet connection and the compatibility of the device you use always affect video quality.

Requirements for the highest possible quality
To watch content in the highest possible quality, the following is required:
A stable internet connection
- Your internet connection should have a download speed of at least 10 Mbit/s.
- If buffering or stuttering occurs, it is most likely due to an unstable or slow internet connection. See instructions on how to troubleshoot these issues here.
A device that supports the available quality level.
- Playback quality is always adjusted to the highest level supported by the device being used, even if the content is technically available in higher quality.
Tip: On some devices, quality may be manually limited in the device’s video settings. If you are unsure about your device’s quality specifications, we recommend contacting the device manufacturer for more information.
