SDH subtitles are not showing on Apple TV
If subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH) are not showing when you watch Viaplay on your Apple TV, enable this feature in your device’s settings.
Follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your Apple TV.
- Select Accessibility.
- Select Subtitles and Captioning.
- Turn on Closed Captions + SDH.
- Return to Viaplay and try playing the content again.
SDH subtitles cover all dialogue, including dialogue spoken in Icelandic. Other Icelandic subtitles may only cover dialogue spoken in other languages. SDH subtitles are only available on content that offers this type of subtitle.
