Cancel package

You can cancel your Viaplay package at any time. The cancellation takes effect on the last day of your current payment period, campaign, or commitment period. Please note that the cancellation takes effect at the corresponding time of day when your purchase was completed. The exact time when you will no longer be able to watch content with your package will be shown once your package cancellation has been completed.

If your package has a commitment period, the cancellation can only take effect once the commitment period has ended. Any remaining fees during the commitment period will be charged according to your agreement. If you cancel your package, your account will still remain with us, and it is easy to come back to us at any time.

  1. Sign in and go to My account via a web browser.
  2. Under Package information, you can see your current package.
  3. Select Cancel package.
  4. Then follow the steps shown on the screen.

Once the cancellation has been completed, you will receive a confirmation on the screen as well as a confirmation email. Check your spam folder if you cannot find an email.

No active package is shown under Package informationIf the page does not show any active package, but instead shows packages to purchase, this may be because:

  • You are signed in to a different account, or
  • You have Viaplay through a partner (for example, a TV provider) or through Apple. If you have Viaplay through a partner or through Apple, you need to cancel the subscription directly with them.

Changed your mind? You can always reactivate the package on the same page by selecting Cancel package change.

 

You have Viaplay through a TV provider

If you have Viaplay through, for example, Telia, Tele2, Telenor or Sappa, you need to contact them to cancel your subscription.

Important:

  • You do not pay Viaplay directly (unless you have added an extra Viaplay package in addition to your channel offering).
  • If you want to change your TV/mobile subscription or cancel it, you must do so with the partner.
You have Viaplay via Apple

If you started your subscription through Apple, you need to cancel it via Apple.

Cancel on iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your Apple ID account at the top.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Select Viaplay and end the subscription.

After cancellation, you can continue watching until your paid period ends.
